While sitting and reflecting about this weekend’s General Assembly (GA), I realized that it was a really good turnout with a mix of old and new faces.
We were taught songs from Liveloud and all the members really loved the songs especially the song “One”. After song teaching we had praise and worship and we went straight to the sharing of our experience of Conference, our “Jesus Expo” moments. The thing that popped out to me the most was the excitement on the faces of the members when we told them where the conference next year was being held, here in Vancouver. They all seemed filled and excited to experience what all the sharers had experienced at Conference.
After everything we all gathered and played a revision of telephone which was very funny. Everyone was able to bond and be more comfortable with one another.
Praise God for this weekend. Through the GA I experienced the Love and Joy of being a part of a community that loves and cares for each other, helping each other grow closer to Christ.
